This is my 3rd theme choice project and it is a bowl! There is no significant surface design so it is smooth. The bowl is glazed with a black base and blue on the outside with two salmons glazed within the blue. The interior of the bowl is glazed with a random color that turned out green. Artistic elements present in this project is realism with the actual representation of salmon.

This is my hand and wheel project. It is a cylinder with two handles and coils of clay laid along the side. The surface design has coils that run vertically from top to bottom and holes at the top. The coils of the project are glazed blue, the body and handles clear, and the holes green. A artistic element represented in this project are the physical features and how as humans, we want to associate what we see with something that we know.

This is my theme choice 2 project. This project is a vase. The surface design in smooth with no positive or negitive space. The vase is glazed with a solid coat of black and the top is glazed with shadow green that runs over the black. This project emits the art element of surrealism with the shadow green that runs over the black.

This is my multi part project that turned out to be a teapot. It is a vase with a handle, lid, and spout. The surface design has negitive and positive space in the form of the indented lines of the vase and the coils one the spout. The teapot is glazed shadow green in the negivtive space and clear in the postive and neutral space. This project uses contrast in the form of the negitive and positve space within the project. The teapot also uses proportions as an art element like what one finds in nature.

This assignment is my theme, which is nature, choice project. This porject is a bowl. The surface design is smooth with not positive or negitive space. The bowl is glazed blue to represnt water and green strips at the bottom to represent plants that are underwater. This project uses the art elements of a repeating pattern to show how repetitive nature can be.

This is a wheel altered project. It has a smooth surface besides the altered lip at the top creating a wavy design. The wheel altered project is glazed is a solid blue with black at the core of the inside. Since the glaze ran down from the top of the bowl, it creates a tannish color that works well with the bowl giving the wheel alter project a magjestic, lord of the rings feel to it.

This is a set of three project. It includes a bowl, a cup, and a vase. The surface design of the three are all smooth. They are all glazed with a solid blue insde, a black lid, and a splatter blue. The splatter glazes give the projects a sense of randomness even though they are consistant in shape.

This is the second of two soup bowls. Like the first bowl, it has a smooth and flat surface. This bowl is glazed half blue and half green. With the blue and green being glazed in a straight line, it condradicts the round shape of the bowl.

This is a bowl. It has a smooth surface texture. The bowl is glazed blue with a runny green forming an uneven design surrounding the outside. This gives the bowl a surreal look and a lateral sense of movement.
